Did you know that you can stay FREE at most Wal-Mart and Sam's Club Stores?

On any given night you may see several RVers staying overnight at your local Wal-Mart.  They've discovered the secret when traveling on the road and all you need is a safe place to sleep and a place to get supplies.

Corporate Wal-Mart allows RVers to spend the night in their parking lot.  No hook ups are available but there are other benefits!

Think about it!  Wal-Mart has security in the parking lot, 24-Hour SuperCenter shopping availability, rest rooms, gas stations, auto service, pharmacy, vision centers, etc.

Not all stores allow overnight camping.  It's very important to call ahead using the numbers provided in the Pocket Guide to check on store policy.  Usually there is a sign posted in the parking lot in those stores that do not allow overnight stays.  Some cities have made overnight parking illegal.  We identify the stores known to not allow Overnight Stays in the Pocket Guide.
